You GET what YOU have EARNED!

I hate to even go here, but one last thing:

PLEASE remember that my job is to give you the grade that "YOU" EARNED.

I know that I grade on the generous side, so ALL of you should either be happy with your grade OR disappointed in yourself for NOT "EARNING" the grade you desired. Don't expect me to just hand you a grade that you didn't earn! Leave ME out of it! (I have to keep accurate records for the English department, so I have done the best I can with what you have turned in.)

Most importantly, THANK YOU ALL for a FUN Summer Block! I really enjoyed getting to know all of you and the time we spent together. Have a GREAT summer!!!
